Montalve's Box: Take 2

Here's my second attempt at the Music Machine of Madness. I tried to make it more arcane looking with the odd base and more symbols. You'll notice I reused a bunch of the symbols. That's because I'm actually pretty bad at drawing these so I tend to reuse the ones I like. Hopefully Montalve likes this one, because I'm about to get really busy and he'd have to wait a long time for another one.

And you'll notice the odd top with no diagram showing it open. This is because it's a process that would break your mind; crush your insanity as the full weight of the far realm and falling moon of endor land upon your psyche. Or so I'd like to believe. In truth I got really tired and lazy when I finished this. I choose to believe it blossoms like a flower when you blow inside the hole. Other possibilities include opening like my other music box, the top going all organic and translucent and sinking down to reveal the egg inside, and another favorite, nothing happenening but the people within a 5 ft radius seeing an egg there floating above the top and being subject to its powers. Take your pick or design your own.
