Little Bird

So I got to the convention hall and found out the Hoang Tien Quyet was not able to attend due to not being able to get a passport in time. This was sad. Then I found out Beth Johnson was there and I perked right up again. People who have been following me know that I am in love with her models and folding style and as it turns out she is a very charming person as well. Very bubbly and cheerful and just fun to be around. So I got myself introduced to her and while I was fanboy-ing all over her mentioned that I was having trouble with the little bird. She snapped that up and offered to show me. This is how the convention started for me and really set the tone for the casual atmosphere and star-mingling (as I call it) that took place the rest of the weekend.
