Full Rigged Ship by Kessukoofah Full Rigged Ship by Kessukoofah
So I am having a pretty bad day and one of the sales ladies took the time to talk with me and figure out what's going wrong and boost my confidence a little. She then suggested I fold something to make myself feel better. So I did. and I feel a bit better.

I've been putting this model off for a while for no real reason and now I've done it.

Designed by (as far as I can tell) Patricial Crawford. Diagrams found in Origami Step-by-Step by Robert Harbin.

You may recall me posting a comment to the effect that I thought yours was awesome. To be honest, it just reminded me that I had the book lying around and I needed a cool project to get my mind off stuff so ya...Funny how these things work out, eh?

you did! I'm sorry, my perception skills/memory isn't so great. It's a pretty decent book with cool models. I tried to do patricia crawford's swan today from the same book... man those diagrams for that model were so confusing! too many folding steps on one diagram, "magnified" steps that didn't make any visual sense... grrr...

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better about yourself. :) I've been wanting to do that model for a while now too... except I can't find a cp or instructions anywhere... and i'm too broke to buy the book lol. >.< anyway, you've done a terrific job on it! I love it!

Ya, I went on a buying spree a short time ago, and now I have all these books and they're so pretty but oh god did my wallet hurt for a while.

I'm glad you like it! If you ever do have a couple of bucks lying around, this is a rather good book ot get. There are several fun models in there and I hope to do more of them soon. (You can always wait till I do more and see if it'll be worth it to you. I try not to buy books based on one model.)

Hehe buying sprees... Yeah I really try to avoid bookstores because if I go in I rarely go out empty handed. >.<

And awesome! I will definitely do that (if I can ever afford it!!) And I agree, I never buy a book based one one model alone. I don't feel it justifies it. And thanks, I think I'll wait for a bit and see what other models come with it before deciding if I really want it. :) (Thanks!)
