Bird of Paradise

I really don't like this model. I mean, it is definitely better than most of the other Birds of Paradise models I'd seen, but it really has to be kept held like this to look good since the leaf splays open otherwise and the petal bulb is really in two half's so they separate. And honestly, I just don't think it looks as good as the one I did.

This model comes out of a book of Hawaiian models that is really poorly diagrammed and most of the models are overly complex for the results. But that's just an opinion, and since it is the only book out there that has a bird of paradise (that I could find), I suppose it can't be that bad.
